Sindh Govt Reissues Urgent Reminder on Medical Reimbursement Claims Pending Over 6 Months:
In an ongoing effort to ensure that government employees in Sindh receive their medical reimbursement in a timely manner, the Services, General Administration & Coordination Department (SGA&CD) has issued a REMINDER-I to all Administrative Secretaries across the province.
The reminder, dated 13th May 2025, refers to the department’s earlier letter dated 8th May 2025, in which the Chief Secretary of Sindh had directed the submission of a consolidated list of pending medical claims. This follow-up underscores the urgency of the matter and highlights that several departments have yet to comply with the directive.
The rising number of complaints from government officers, staff, and pensioners over unpaid medical bills has brought the issue to the forefront, compelling higher authorities to intervene directly. Please find notification:

Sindh Govt Ramps Up Pressure on Departments Over Medical Reimbursement Delays:
The issuance of Reminder-I clearly signals the Sindh Government’s growing concern regarding the medical reimbursement process for its employees. The Chief Secretary’s directives now come with heightened expectations of compliance. This isn’t just routine bureaucracy—this is a matter of employee rights, healthcare justice, and administrative efficiency.
Departments are now expected to submit accurate, up-to-date lists of all pending medical claims over six months old without further delay. With pressure mounting and direct oversight from the Services & General Administration Department, it’s evident that action will follow if negligence continues.
If you are a government employee awaiting reimbursement, now is the time to follow up with your HR office. And if you’re part of a department yet to comply, this reminder should serve as your final call.
