In a recent official notification issued by the Services, General Administration & Coordination Department (SGA&CD) on 8th May 2025, the Chief Secretary of Sindh has expressed strong displeasure over the backlog of cases — especially those pending for more than six months.
The directive is clear: All Administrative Secretaries must submit a consolidated list of all delayed claims from their respective departments by 9th May 2025. This urgent reminder aims to streamline the reimbursement process and ensure that government employees get the healthcare benefits they are rightfully entitled to.

SUBJECT: SUBMISSION OF LIST OF PENDING MEDICAL REIMBURSEMENT CLAIMS.
It has been observed with concern that cases pertaining to medical reimbursement of officers and officials in various departments are facing undue delays.
2. The Worthy Chief Secretary, Sindh, has taken serious notice of this matter and has desired that a consolidated list of all medical reimbursement claims that have remained pending for more than six months must be submitted to this office without fail.
3. You are, therefore, requested to furnish the said list from your department by tomorrow evening, i.e., 9th May, 2025.
4. Timely compliance with the above instructions is highly appreciated.
