Pakistan Post’s Reassessment Test Postponed Due to Court Order:
In a recent development, the Pakistan Post Metropolitan Circle Karachi has postponed the scheduled re-examination/reassessment test for newly recruited employees. This decision follows a stay order issued by the National Industrial Relations Commission (NIRC) Karachi, temporarily suspending the assessment process.
The Prime Minister’s Office inquiry report had recommended conducting a “Specially Designed Test” to evaluate the competence and skill level of new employees recruited under Pakistan Post’s rental properties and recruitment process. The Director General of Pakistan Post, Islamabad, had endorsed this recommendation. However, in response to a legal challenge, the NIRC has issued a stay order, halting the reassessment process until further notice.
The Pakistan Post administration has confirmed that all necessary arrangements, including the issuance of roll number slips, preparation of question papers, and nomination of invigilators, had been made in advance. However, the reassessment test will remain on hold until the court proceedings conclude.

What’s Next for Pakistan Post’s Recruitment Reassessment?
The postponement of the Pakistan Post reassessment test raises several questions about the future of newly recruited employees. With the NIRC’s stay order in place, no further action can be taken until the court reaches a decision.
Once the legal proceedings are resolved, the reassessment test will be rescheduled, ensuring transparency and merit-based selection. This process aligns with government directives to maintain the efficiency and competency of public sector employees.
