Sindh Colleges Given Final Deadline for Professor Promotion Submissions – May 13 Cutoff:
The Directorate General of Colleges, Sindh has issued a final reminder to all regional directors of college education to submit complete promotion cases for Associate Professors (BS-19) to be elevated to Professor (BS-20) positions. Despite previous directives, many regions have failed to submit the required documentation by the April 28 deadline.
Key requirements include:
- Complete ACRs and Synopsis Quantification Charts
- No Dues/No Enquiry/NRO/No Dual Nationality Certificates
- NAB Clearance Certificates in the new prescribed format
- Submission must align with the Final Seniority List (Male: Serial 57-140; Female: Serial 35-90)
This top priority directive sets a strict new deadline of May 13, 2025, with submissions to be made via Special Messenger. The move aims to expedite long-pending promotions in Sindh’s collegiate education system. Please find notification:

With reference to letter No. SO(HE-III)Misc/Promotion/2025 dated 22-04-2025 of College Education Department, Government of Sindh and this directorate letter No. DGCS/HR/380/2025 dated 23-04-2025, on the subject noted above, wherein you were directed to submit the promotion cases of Associate Professors (BPS-19) Male and Female on or before 28h April, 2024, but the same are still awaited.
You are once again directed to furnish ACR’s, Synopsis Quantification Chart along with No Dues / No Enquiry / NRO / No Dual Nationality Certificates and NAB Certificate on new format / policy as circulated by SGA & CD vide letter No. SOIII(SGA&CD)7-2/2018 dated 16-11-2018 regarding Associate Professors (BS-19) Male / Female as per the Final Seniority List of Associate Professors (BS-19) (Male and Female) Colleglate Branch as stood on 15-07-2023, circulated vide College Education Department Sindh letter No.SO(HE-IlI)Misc/Seniority List/2022 dated 11-08-2023 (Seniority list from Serial No. 57 to 140 Male side) and (Female side serial No.35 to 90) against vacant posts of Professors (BS-20), on or before 13th May, 2025, through Special Messenger, positively, without fail to this directorate for taking further necessary action
