Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Announces Spring Vacations for Schools:
The Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Elementary & Secondary Education Department has officially declared spring vacations for all public and private educational institutions across the province. According to the latest notification issued on March 26, 2025, all schools falling under the jurisdiction of the E&SE Department will remain closed from April 1, 2025, to April 8, 2025.
However, essential school staff, including principals, head teachers, and clerical personnel, are required to return to duty from April 3, 2025, to April 8, 2025, following Eid-ul-Fitr holidays. Their primary responsibility during this period will be to distribute free textbooks and continue the admission process as part of the province’s enrollment campaign for new students.
This initiative aligns with the government’s goal of ensuring equal educational opportunities by providing necessary resources to students at the start of the academic year. Parents are advised to stay updated with their respective schools regarding the schedule for book distribution and admissions. Please find the notification:

No. SO (G)/F&SED/1-48/2025/Spring Vacations, Spring Vacations are hereby ordered in all Public and Private Educational Institutions falling under the jurisdiction of E&SE Department w.e.f. 01-04-2025 to 08-04-2025 (Both days inclusive) in all the districts of the province.
All the principals, head teachers and clerical staff of the schools shall be present w.e.f. 03-04-2025 to 08-04-2025 after Eid-ul-Fitar holidays for distribution of free text books and to continue admission process of new children during the enrollment campaign.
