KPK Government Announces Spring & Eid Holidays for Higher Education Institutions:
The Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) has officially announced the closure of all public and private higher education institutions across the province in observance of Spring and Eid-ul-Fitr holidays. According to the latest notification issued by the Higher Education, Archives & Libraries Department, universities and colleges will remain closed from March 29, 2025, to April 7, 2025.
This decision comes as part of the annual academic schedule, allowing students and faculty members to celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr with their families while also enjoying a well-deserved spring break. The holidays apply to all government and private sector universities, colleges, and higher education institutions operating within the province.
The notification has been issued under the authority of the Higher Education Department (HED) KPK, ensuring that all institutions comply with the directive. Students are advised to check with their respective institutions for any additional announcements regarding academic schedules or resumption of classes. Please find the notification:
