Keeping in view the ongoing heavy rainfall in the district Umerkot and forecast made by the Pakistan Metrological Department (PMD) and Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA), Sindh, for further rains till 31-08-2024, the District Administration Umerkot is pleased to declare 29-08-2024 & 30-08-2024 as holidays for all public and private educational institutions within the territorial jurisdiction of district Umerkot.
