Urgent Verification of Teachers’ Profiles on SIS – Government of Punjab Issues Strict Directive:
The Government of the Punjab, School Education Department (Monitoring Wing) has issued an urgent directive to all Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) of District Education Authorities (DEAs) in Punjab regarding the verification of teachers’ profiles awaiting posting on the School Information System (SIS).
The pending verification of these teachers’ profiles has been identified as a serious concern, particularly for those affected by the outsourcing of schools. The delay in verification is preventing the issuance of official posting orders, causing disruptions in the placement of teachers and impacting the overall efficiency of the education system.
To address this issue, all CEOs of DEAs have been strictly instructed to complete the verification process immediately, ensuring that no teacher’s profile remains pending. It has been emphasized that, once a teacher’s status is updated on the SIS, their profile requires re-verification, making continuous monitoring essential. Teachers are also advised to regularly check their profiles to facilitate a smooth and swift posting process.
The School Education Department has made it clear that any delay in this process will result in personal accountability for the concerned CEO. The verification must be completed by the end of the day, reinforcing the urgent nature of this directive. Notification Describes;

Subject :- URGENT VERIFICATION OF TEACHERS’ PROFILES AWAITING POSTING ON SIS
The Authority has noted with serious concern that the verification of profiles for teachers awaiting posting, due to outsourced schools, is still pending, which is preventing the generation of orders for these teachers on the SIS. It is reiterated that the profiles of all teachers awaiting posting must be thoroughly verified. It is pertinent to mention that, when the status of these teachers is updated on the SIS, their profiles again require verification. Therefore, all the teachers are required to regularly monitor their profiles until the orders are generated.
2. I am hereby directed to request all Chief Executive Officers (DEAs) to ensure the verification of profiles for all teachers awaiting posting by the end of TODAY positively. Any undue delay in this process will hold the concerned CEO personally responsible.
