Balochistan Government Directive Issued to Halt Salaries of Dual Job Employees–Notification

Accountability in Focus: Disciplinary Actions for Dual Government Jobs in Balochistan:

The Directorate of Education (Schools), Balochistan, issued a notification on December 26, 2024, regarding employees holding dual government positions within the province. This directive emphasizes the immediate need for action following a letter from the Accountant General Balochistan, which identified individuals engaging in dual job practices. To address this issue, the Secretary Finance, Government of Balochistan, has been instructed to halt the salaries of the listed employees and initiate disciplinary proceedings in accordance with the Balochistan Employees Efficiency and Discipline Act (BEEDA) 2011. Furthermore, administrative secretaries are tasked with investigating and holding accountable the supervisory officers who allowed such practices to continue undetected, signaling inefficiency or possible collusion. Subject :-       DUAL JOB HOLDER EMPLOYEES OF THE GOVERNMENT OF BALOCHISTAN.

                              Reference the director from the Chief Secretary Balochistan regarding the above cited subject and to stated that :-

The undersigned is directed to refer to the subject captioned supra and to enclosed herewith a letter received from the Accountant General Balochistan bearing No. MIS/Double Dipping/15 dated 20^th November, 2024 (Annex-i)

The competent Authority has directed that Secretary Finance Government of Balochistan shall take up the matter with Accountant General Balochistan and stop the salaries of all those officers / officials whose names have been reflected in list.

Moreover, all concerned Administrative Secretaries shall look into the matter and initiate disciplinary proceedings against the officer / official mention in the list under BEEDA 2011 in two week’s time and also fix responsibility upon the officers under whose administration, the alleged officers / officials performed dual job that went unnoticed & they didn’t highlight the absence of officers / officials performing dual job, which shows their connivance of inefficiency.

Mater be given top priority, please.

                              Therefore, you are directed to follow the direction of the competent authority and issue the show cause notice to the listed officers / officials under your jurisdiction and take disciplinary action under BEEDA 2011 under intimation to this office accordingly.
