School Holidays Confirmed Across KP – Check Summer & Winter Zone Vacation Details:
The Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, through the Elementary & Secondary Education Department, has officially issued a new Government Notification regarding the 2025 summer vacation schedule for both public and private schools across the province. Dated 21st May 2025, the notification outlines separate vacation periods for summer zone and winter zone institutions.
According to Notification No. SO(G)/E&SED/1-48/2025/Summer Vacations, primary schools in the summer zone will be closed from 1st June to 31st August 2025, while middle, high, and higher secondary schools will observe holidays from 15th June to 31st August 2025. For schools in the winter zone, a one-month vacation has been scheduled from 1st July to 31st July 2025.
This decision ensures a balanced academic calendar considering regional weather patterns, providing students and teachers a much-needed break during extreme weather. Please find notification:
