SUBJECT: REVISION OF RENTAL CEILING FOR HIRING OF RESIDENTIAL ACCOMMODATION AT SIX SPECIFIED STATIONS i.e. ISLAMABAD, RAWALPINDI, LAHORE, KARACHI, PESHWAR AND QUETTA
I am directed to refer to Estate Office Management (HQs) letter No. 51(245)/Admn-EO dated 06-09-2024 and Ministry of Housing & Works, Islamabad letter No. 4(8)92-Policy dated 06-09-2024 regarding the revision of rental ceilings for residential accommodation at specified stations, including Karachi.
2.    Following a comprehensive survey to assess the market rent rates for residential accommodation in Karachi. It has been observed that rental rates vary significantly based on the area or sector. To ensure that the rental ceilings align with current market conditions, the following revised rental ceilings are recommended for Karachi Station:
