Relief for Parents – KPK Government Enforces 20% Fee Concession for Siblings in Private Schools:
In an important update for parents across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the KP Private Schools Regulatory Authority (KP-PSRA) has issued a new notification dated 24th April 2025, enforcing a strict directive to all private schools regarding mandatory sibling fee concessions.
According to this notification, all private schools — whether they operate separate campuses for boys, girls, primary, middle, or high school levels — are now bound to treat all branches as a single institute. As a result, they must provide a minimum 20% fee concession for the 2nd, 3rd, 4th child (and onward) enrolled within the same school system.
This step follows the Judgment of the Peshawar High Court and reaffirms Clause 7(4)XV of the KP-PSRA Regulations 2018. It is a major relief for families with multiple children studying in private institutions and is expected to bring more transparency and fairness in fee structures. Please find notification:

Strong Action Ordered – All KPK Private Schools Must Abide by Sibling Fee Concession Policy:
The KP-PSRA has made it clear: no private school in the province can ignore the 20% sibling discount policy. Whether a school has multiple campuses or runs co-ed or segregated sections, they will be considered a single institution for fee purposes and must extend this benefit to the families.
Parents now have the legal backing of the Peshawar High Court’s verdict, and the government has promised strict enforcement through the KP-PSRA. This not only eases the financial burden on families but also promotes fairness and regulatory compliance across the private education sector.
