Punjab Announces Two-Day School Closure Across Province on 9th & 10th May 2025:
In an official development from the Government of the Punjab, School Education Department, it has been confirmed that all public and private schools across the province will remain closed on Friday, 9th May and Saturday, 10th May 2025. This closure decision follows the approval of the Competent Authority and has been issued to ensure administrative preparedness and public order.
However, it is important to note that this closure will not apply to international examinations such as O-Level and A-Level, which will continue as scheduled by the relevant examining bodies.
All Chief Executive Officers (DEAs) have been instructed to strictly ensure compliance with this directive. Citizens and parents are advised to stay updated through official government channels and educational institutions. Notification Describes;

However, examinations scheduled by/on behalf of International Examining bodies (O-Level and A-Level) shall continue as scheduled.
2. All Chief Executive Officers (DEAS) are directed to ensure compliance of the orders.
