SUBJECT: DISCONTINUATION OF ‘SOUTH PUNJAB RE-ALLOCATION ALLOWANCE’ FOR OFFICERS/ OFFICIALS POSTED TO SOUTH PUNJAB SECRETARIAT I OFFICE OF ADDITIONAL INSPECTOR GENERAL OF POLICE, SOUTH PUNJAB

In continuation of Finance Department’s letters of even Nos. dated 11.12.2020 & 13.01.2022 & 19.09.2022 (Copies enclosed), it has been decided to discontinue South Punjab Re-Allocation Allowance w.e.f. 27.08.2023 in light of periodical review by the Chief Secretary in terms of para-1(ii) of Finance Department’s letter of even No. dated 11.12.2020.
