This decision applies to all government offices, autonomous and semi-autonomous bodies, corporations, and local councils operating under the administrative control of the Sindh Government. Holi, known as the Festival of Colors, is a significant festival celebrated by the Hindu community to mark the arrival of spring and the victory of good over evil. Dulhendi, observed on the following day, is a joyous occasion where people engage in colorful festivities, music, and traditional rituals. This step reflects the Sindh Government’s commitment to inclusivity and religious harmony, ensuring that all communities are given the opportunity to celebrate their cultural and religious events with official recognition and support.
