In a recent directive dated January 22, 2025, the Chief Minister has approved the continuation of the “Education Fellows” (EFs) program in Gilgit-Baltistan’s Education Department. This approval, granted following a detailed presentation and briefing by the Secretary of Education, reflects the government’s dedication to achieving educational objectives outlined in the consortium’s agreement. The initiative is aimed at addressing key educational challenges, enhancing academic standards, and fostering the professional growth of educators in the region. This proactive measure underlines the importance of collaboration and innovation in driving sustainable development across the education landscape of Gilgit-Baltistan. Gilgit, dated the 22nd  January, 2025 Subject :-       HIRING OF EDUCATION FELLOWS IN GILGIT-BALTISTAN EDUCATION DEPARTMENT            I am directed to refer to Chief Minister Secretariat, GB letter bearing No. SO (I&C)-3(1)/2023 dated 29 November, 2024 on the subject cited above. 2.       Subsequent to the presentation/briefing on the subject issue by Secretary Education, Gilgit-Baltistan followed by letter No. Sec-Edu-1-1(5)/2019 dated 15th January, 2025, the Honorable Chief Minister, GB has been pleased to allow continuation of the program “EFs” as per the agreement signed with the consortium in order to achieve its objectives, please. SECTION OFFICER (I&C) Conclusion: The continuation of the “Education Fellows” (EFs) program marks a significant step forward in the Government of Gilgit-Baltistan’s mission to elevate the standards of education in the region. In accordance with the directive of the Hon’ble Chief Justice of the Gilgit-Baltistan Chief Court, the following instructions are issued: All Stay Matters related to development projects and official recruitments, whether pending before the Hon’ble Gilgit-Baltistan Chief Court or any District Court within Gilgit-Baltistan, must be disposed of within one month. District & Sessions Judges are directed to communicate this directive to all Courts under their jurisdiction and ensure its implementation. Therefore, if any NGOs / Societies failed to submit the Annual Audit and Progress Report by the stipulated time, the legal action will be initiated.
