Memo, I am directed to refer to the subject cited above and to convey the recommendations of the Multi-Sectorial Steering Committee for Deworming Initiative of School-Age Children in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, a school-based deworming campaign is scheduled during 4th to 8th November, 2024 (both inclusive), in which the trained teachers will be administering deworming medicines (Mebendazole-500 mg) to children school aged 5-14 years. The activity will be observed in the public schools of Elementary & Secondary Education Department, Elementary & Secondary Education Foundation, Afghan Refugees, Deeni Madaris and Private Schools registered with Private Schools Regulatory Authority (PSRA) in the 22 districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
