Notification-Sindh Government Announces 2024 Adhoc Relief Allowance For All Civil Employees And 2024 Personal Allowance For Bps-01 To Bps-06 Employees

NO.FD(SR-I)01(32)/2024-25 GOVERNMENT OF SINDHFINANCE DEPARTMENT Karachi, the dated 11th July, 2024. OFFICE MEMORANDUM SUBJECT: GRANT OF ADIIOC RELIEF ALLOWANCE-2024 TO ALL CIVIL SERVANT OF SINDII GOVERNMENT AND PERSONAL ALLOWANCE FROM 13PS-01 TO BPS-06. The Government of Sindh i.e Provincial Cabinet has been pleased to sanction an Adhoc Relief Allowance-2024 with effect from 1st July, 2024 to all Civil Servants of Sindh Government as well as contingent paid staff and contract employees against civil posts in Basic Pay Scales on standard terms and conditions of contract appointment. The rate of Adhoc Relief Allowance-2024 is as under:                   i)            BPS-01 to BPS-06        @ 30% of Running Basic Pay                  ii)           BPS-07 to BPS-I6        @ 25% of Running Basic Pay                 iii)           BPS-17 to BPS-22        @ 22% of Running Basic Pay 2.            The amount of Adhoc Relief Allowance-2024; i)         will be subject to Income Tax. ii)        will be admissible during leave and entire period of LPR except during Extra Ordinary Leave (EOL). iii)       will not be treated as part of emoluments for the purpose of calculation of Pension / Gratuity and recovery of House Rent. iv)          will not be admissible to the employees during the tenure of their posting / deputation abroad. v)         will be admissible to the employees on their repatriation from posting / deputation abroad at the rate and amount which would have been admissible to them had they not been posted abroad. 3.           The term “Basic Pay” for the of Adhoc Relief Allowance-2024 will also include the amount of the personal pay granted on account of annual increments(s) beyond the maximum of the existing pay scales. 4.         PERSONAL ALLOWANCE-2024 The Personal Allowance-2024 has been introduced in order to the disparity and bridge the gap between gross salary and minimum wages i.e. Rs.37,000/- per month to the employees in BPS-01 to BPS-06 as per the following details:- Sr. No Particulars Maximum amount per month (in Its.) 01 BPS-01 4,071/- 02 BPS-02 3,494/- 03 BPS-03 2,548/- 04 BPS-04 1,629/- 05 BPS-05 1,245/- 06 BPS-06 I32/- 5.                   The Personal Allowance shall be admissible subject to the following conditions:               i)               This allowance shall he admissible to all those employees from BPS-01 to BPS-06, whose gross monthly salary is less than Rs.37,000/- and shall be adjustable against future annual increments and shall be discontinued after the gross salary reaches at minimum level Rs.37,000/- per month.            ii)          This allowance shall not be admissible to the employees working in BPS-01 to BPS-06, who are already drawing /shall draw their monthly gross salary upto or beyond Rs. 37,000/-per month.            iii)          will not be treated as part of emoluments for the purpose of calculation of Pension / Gratuity and recovery of House Rent. 6.          The above Adhoc Relief Allowance-2024 and Personal Allowance-2024 shall be accommodated within the budgetary allocation for the financial year 2024-2025 by the respective Department and no supplementary grants would be given on this account. No. FD.SR-1/3-10/2004(P-II) GOVERNMENT OF THE PUNJABFINANCE DEPARTMENT Dated Lahore the 07th February, 2024 Subject:              REVISION IN FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE PACKAGE FOR THE FAMILY OF A CIVIL SERVANT Who DIES WHILE IN SERVICE In continuation of this department’s letter of even number dated 07.12.2023 and in pursuance of decision of the Caretaker Provincial Cabinet in its 35th meeting held on 10.01.2024, I am directed to state that the Governor of the Punjab has been pleased to approve following revision in the provisions of Sr. No. 1& 4 & 5 of para-1 of Financial Assistance Package notified vide Finance Department’s policy letter bearing No.FD.SR-1/3-10/2004, dated 15.08.2017 for the families of civil servants who die while in service. It shall be applicable in case of a civil servant who dies while in service on or alter 10.01.2024: 1. GOVERNMENT OF PAKISTANFINANCE DIVISION(Regulation Wing) No.F.3 (1)-R.5/2010-                                                                 Islamabad, the 5th September, 2012 OFFICE MEMORANDUM Subject:        REVISION IN THE RATES OF CONVEYANCE ALLOWANCE FOR THE CIVIL SERVANTS OF THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT IN BPS 1-19 AS WELL AS ARMED FORCES PERSONNEL In partial modifications of Finance Division (Regulations Wing’s) O.M. No. F. 3(1)-R.5/2010 dated 03-07-2012 on the above subject, it has been decided to further revise the rates of Conveyance Allowance admissible to Civil Servants working in BPS 1-15 as under, applicable w.e.f 1st September, 2012,while the rate of Conveyance Allowance for Civil Servants in BPS 16-19 will remain the same:- BPS Existing Revised 1-4 RS.1500/-p.m. RS.1700/-p.m. 5-10 RS.1500/-p.m. RS.1840/-p.m. 11-15 RS.2000/-p.m. RS.2720/-p.m. 16-19 RS.5000/-p.m. RS.5000/-p.m. 2.                   The above said Conveyance Allowance shall be admissible to all the personnel of the Armed Forces in the pay scale equivalent to the BPS 1-19 w.e.f 1st September, 2012,on revised rates, wherever these are applicable as per rules.
