Government of Gilgit-Baltistan Announces Police Promotions: 17 Officers Elevated to Deputy Superintendent:

Having been recommended by the Departmental Promotion Board (DPB), the following Police Inspectors (BS-16) are hereby promoted to the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police (BS-17) in Police Department Gilgit-Baltistan on conditional basis subject to the final outcome of CPLAs from Apex Court w.e.f the date of DPB meeting i.e. 19th December, 2024:

02- Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â They will be on probation for a period of one year, extendable for a further period of one year under Section-5, Sub Section (2) of Gilgit-Baltistan Civil Servants Act, 2011. If no order is issued on expiry of first year of probation, the probation shall be deemed to have been extended for a further period of one year.
