The notification states that the holiday applies within the limits of District Jamshoro to allow devotees and the general public to participate in the religious and cultural celebrations of the great Sufi saint. Hazrat Lal Shahbaz Qalandar, one of the most revered Sufi saints of the subcontinent, is widely celebrated for his message of love, peace, and spirituality.
