Educational Boards in Sindh Urged to Update Personnel Records for Enhanced Transparency:
The Government of Sindh, through its Universities & Boards Department, has issued a directive regarding the personal record management of officers and officials working in various educational boards in the province. This communication is aimed specifically at the officers and staff from BS-14 and above, ensuring that their personnel records are up-to-date and accurately maintained. As per the notification, the department requests that a comprehensive set of documents be provided by the educational boards to assist in the effective management and verification of official records. This includes details of initial appointments along with the approval granted by the relevant appointing authorities, as well as the specifics of any subsequent promotions, including the minutes of the respective Departmental Promotion Committees (DPC) or committees involved in the promotion process, along with the necessary approvals. Subject :- Â Â Â Â Â PERSONAL RECORD MANAGEMENT OF ALL EDUCATIONAL BOARDS FROM BS-14 AND ABOVE.
Ref: Universities & Boards Department’s Letter No. SO(G/DDO)U&B/SP-17/All-Boards/Gen/2023 dated 08.05. 2023 and subsequent reminder dated 24.05.2023
I am directed to refer to the subject noted above and to say that the following information / documents in respect of officers / officials from BS-14 and above may be provided to this department:
(i) Details of initial appointment alongwith copy of approval granted by the then respective appointing authority.
(ii) Details of subsequent promotion(s) alongwith copy of minutes of the respective DPC / Committee and approval of the respective the then authority.
2.             It is, requested that the aforementioned information / documents may kindly be provided to this department at the earliest.
