District Education Authorities Directed to Transfer School Management to PEF: Inventory Audits and Staff Continuity Ensured-Notification

Subject:   HANDING OVER OF INVENTORY AND SCHOOLS TO SUCCESSFUL LICENSEES BY THE CONCERNED DISTRICT EDUCATION AUTHORITIES (DEAS)

Please refer to the subject cited above and in continuation of letter dated 23.05.2024 regarding Preparation of inventory sheets of the schools under Public Schools Reorganization Program (PSRP) issued by PMIU-PESRP (copy enclosed).

2.              I am directed to state that Inventory sheets be prepared all zero, single, and two-teacher schools in your respective district, using the attached inventory sheet form and to Constitute tehsil-level committees comprising Deputy District Education Officers and Assistant Education Officers for signing the inventory sheets and properly handing over operational management to successful licensees of Punjab Education Foundation. Any inventory shortages at the time of handover, compared to the data from the school census 2023, be investigated, and fix responsibility against the delinquents under PEEDA 2006.

3.         I am further directed lo intimate the existing staff, including teachers and support staff, may remains posted or these schools till the schools become operational under new licensees after handing over till 30^th September, 2024. NSB for these schools may be transferred for first quarter of Financial Year, 2024 only and may be spent by concerned DDEO’S on respective schools under intimation to PEF. Furthermore, CEO’s of DEA Bahawalnagar, Guirat & Mandi. Behauddin are directed to upload PSRP school’s inventory data immediately.
