Kotli District Administration to Take Action Against Vehicles Without Number Plates – Official Notification Issued:
The District Magistrate Kotli has issued a strict directive regarding vehicles operating without number plates. From 10th to 16th February 2025, the Traffic Inspector of Kotli will take action against unregistered vehicles in various sub-divisions, including Kotli, Sahinsa, Fatehpur Thakiala, Charhowi, Khoiraita, and Dolian Jattan.
As per the official government notification, vehicles without number plates will be seized, and their release will only be possible after providing proper registration documents, number plates, and an undertaking with a Rs. 50,000 surety bond. This action is part of the government’s efforts to regulate traffic rules, curb illegal vehicle usage, and enhance road safety in the region.
