Governor’s Secretariat Refers DTE Regularization Request for BS-16 Positions:
The Governor’s Secretariat Punjab continues to uphold its commitment to addressing the concerns and professional aspirations of educational personnel across the province. In line with this dedication, the Secretariat has received a formal application from Mr. Shah Fakhar Ul Arfeen Hamdani, representing the Punjab District Teachers Educators Association (PDA, Punjab). This application seeks the regularization of District Teachers Educators (DTEs) to the positions of Senior School Teachers (SST) and Assistant Education Officers (AEO) in Basic Scale-16. The request aligns with a legal precedent established in Writ Petition No. 2572/2018, adjudicated by the Honorable Lahore Rawalpindi Bench, Rawalpindi. Subject :- APPLICATION FOR REGULARIZATION OF SERVICES OF DISTRICT TEACHERS EDUCATORS AS SST/AEO (BS-16)
In continuation of this Secretariat’s letter of even number dated 01.07.2024 and find enclosed herewith a copy of application dated nil received from Shah Fakhar Ul Arfeen Hamdani, representative of all DTEs/Teachers Punjab DTEs Association (PDA, Punjab), on the subject noted above.
2. I am directed to inform that the applicants have requested the Hon’ble Governor of the Punjab for regularization of the services of District Teachers Educators as SST/AEO (BS-16) in line with the order of the Hon’ble Lahore Rawalpindi Bench, Rawalpindi passed in Writ Petition No.2572/2018.
3. Apropos above, I am directed to request that matter may be looked into and further necessary action may be taken under Law / Rules / Policy, under intimation to the applicants and this Secretariat.
