Balochistan Government Declares Public Holidays for Eid-ul-Fitr 2025:
The Government of Balochistan has officially announced public holidays for Eid-ul-Fitr 2025 through a recently issued press release by the Services & General Administration Department (S&GAD). As per the notification, March 31 to April 2, 2025 (Monday to Wednesday) have been declared public holidays across the province in observance of the Eid festivities.
This decision follows the Cabinet Division’s notification from the Federal Government, ensuring that Balochistan aligns with the nationwide Eid holiday schedule. The notification directs local authorities, public offices, and institutions to adhere to the designated holiday period.
The provincial government has also instructed that this announcement be widely publicized through local newspapers and electronic media, ensuring that the public is well informed.
For citizens and government employees, this notification provides clarity on the official holiday schedule, allowing them to make necessary travel and celebration arrangements. Offices and government institutions will resume operations from April 3, 2025 (Thursday).

Declaration of Public Holidays on the Occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr
In pursuance of Government of Pakistan, Cabinet Division’s Islamabad press release No.10-01/2025-Min-II dated 19th March, 2025 and in continuation of this Department’s circular of even number dated 14th January, 2025 listing public and optional holidays for the year, 2025, it is notified that the Government of Balochistan has been pleased to declare 31st March to 02nd April, 2025 (Monday to Wednesday) as public holidays throughout the Province on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
