SUB     PROHIBITION FROM POSTING/SHARING DEROGATORY REMARKS AND USING FILTHY LANGUAGE AT SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS AGAINST THE OFFICE BEARERS AND THE  MEMBERS PUNJAB BAR COUNCIL. Reference order of the Executive Committee Punjab Bar Council dated 31-8-2024, to the subject cited above. The Executive Committee Punjab Bar Council has been pleased to pass an order dated 31-8-2024 which is reproduced hereunder – “it has been observed by the Committee with grave concern that numerous incidents across the Province have been recorded through Social Media wherein the advocates used filthy language and derogatory remarks against the learned elected Office bearers of Bar Associations and the Punjab Bar Council while using Social Media Platforms. It is, therefore, publicized through the instant order that from now on if any advocate found involved in any negative activity e.g. Use of filthy language OR use of derogatory remarks Etc against elected Office bearers of Bar Associations and the Punjab Bar Council through Social Media or any other Platform, the same shall be treated Misconduct and strict action under the relevant provisions of Law shall be taken.” This is forinformation and compliance of Lawyers across Province of the Punjab. All the Senior Civil Judges (Civil Division), In the Punjab Subject:           REPORT OF EXPENSES OF MAINTENANCE & REPAIR OF OFFICIAL VEHICLES AND OF MEDICAL REIMBURSEMENT OF JUDGES OF DISTRICT JUDICIARY, PUNJAB.  Dear Sir, In order to promote transparency and to have an overlook and effective check upon the utilization of funds given at the disposal of District & Sessions Judges/ Senior Civil Judges (Civil Division) under the head of repair and maintenance of official vehicles and medical expenses for the Judges of District Judiciary Punjab, the Hon’ble Chief Justice has been pleased to direct that henceforth the details of expenses claimed by and reimbursed to a Judge of District Judiciary shall be forwarded to this Directorate at the end of each calendar month.
