Subject: DISTRIBUTION OF TABLETS TO PRIMARY_SCHOOLS TEACHERS IN THE PUNJAB Kindly refer to the subject cited above. 2. PMIU-PESRP is implementing the GPE-funded “TALEEM” Programme, wherein, tablets for standalone primary schools have been provided as part of CPD support for Primary School Teachers (PSTs). Tablets have already been delivered at designated focal points of your respective district. 3. The designated Focal Persons, already notified, are responsible for coordination, and to ensure timely distribution of tablets among primary schools. Guidelines and protocols regarding distribution of tablets to primary schools have already been issued ode PMIU’s letter No. I&C/TALEEM/PESRP/2023/27838 dated 20.11.2023 (copy enclosed). 4. In view of the above, it is requested to start distribution of tablets to primaryschools from 23rdMay, 2024 as per attached list of schools in accordance with the guidelines. All codal formalities must be ensured during distribution of tablets to primary schools and distribution activity must be completed A the earliest. No. DD(M)/ Dengue/2024GOVERNMENT OF THE PUNJABSCHOOL EDUCATION DEPARTMENT(MONITORING WING) Dated Lahore the 22nd May, 2024 SUBJECT:-MINUTES OF MEETING REGARDING ANTI-DENGUE MEASURES/ ISSUES FIELD WITH ANTI-DENGUE FOCAL PERSONS Dated:              17-05-2024 Venue: Committee Room, School Education Department, Lahore In Chair:           Special Secretary, School Education Department, Lahore Participants: The meeting commenced with recitation of Holy Quran, followed by the chair extending a welcome to all participants. The chair directed the participants to implement anti-dengue SOPS in all schools in fetter and spirit. He stated that our objective is to guarantee a hygienic and dengue-free environment within all schools. 2. Director (Monitoring) provided an overview of the meeting’s agenda and emphasized various topics. The representative of PITS also addressed queries of the focal persons. 3. Following decisions were made during meeting. Sr. Agenda Point Discussion/Decisions Action by 1 “Zero Period” in schools for dengue awareness   The chair directed that implement “Zero Period” sessions in schools to educate students about dengue awareness. Furthermore, it was stressed that the quality of resolution should be guaranteed as well.
