Punjab Announces CTIs Induction 2025 – Colleges Directed to Submit Vacancy Details:
In a significant move to address faculty shortages in public sector colleges, the Directorate of Public Instructions (Colleges), Punjab, has issued an official notification regarding the induction of College Teaching Interns (CTIs) for 2025 as a stop-gap arrangement. All Directors of Education (Colleges) across Punjab have been instructed to guide college principals in calculating the required number of CTIs based on actual faculty needs and the Student-Teacher Ratio (STR).
This initiative aims to ensure the smooth functioning of educational institutions and maintain teaching standards in Punjab’s public colleges. The notification emphasizes that the data must be accurately compiled, duly verified, and submitted to the Directorate by 12th February 2025. SUBJECT: INDUCTION OF CTIS FOR THE YEAR 2025 AS STOP GAP ARRANGEMENT
Apropos the subject cited.
2. All the Directors of Education (Colleges), in the Punjab are hereby directed to issue directions to the Principals of the Public Sector Colleges to calculate seats for induction of College Teaching Interns in the Public Sector Colleges as stop gap arrangements. The calculation must be based on actual need of the college and STR.
3. The requisite information duly signed by the Principals of the Colleges, verified by the Deputy Directors concerned and countersigned by the Directors of Education (Colleges) of the concerned Division must be submitted in this Directorate up to 12.02.2025 (WEDNESDAY) positively. In case of incomplete or incorrect information, the concerned Directors, Deputy Directors and Principal shall be held responsible.
4. This must be treated as most urgent and important.
