School Education & Literacy Department Highlights Policy Implementation and Progress:

The School Education & Literacy Department, Government of Sindh, has called for a series of critical meetings to address key matters impacting the education sector across the province. Scheduled between January 27^th and January 29^th, 2025, these meetings will be chaired by the esteemed Secretary of the department and will gather Directors and District Education Officers (DEOs) from various regions. The objective is to discuss pressing agendas, including updates on court and pension cases, school census progress, and the implementation of the Clustering Policy. Other focal points include recruitment and promotions, status of disciplinary actions, and initiatives like tree plantation drives. The meetings also aim to evaluate the progress of STR (Student-Teacher Ratio) policies and district-level activities like the Book Bank updates and District Selection Committee meetings. To ensure the effective exchange of information and decision-making, attendees are instructed to prepare detailed reports and PowerPoint presentations. By addressing these critical areas, the department underscores its commitment to enhancing the quality of education, ensuring accountability, and driving the overall development of schools in Sindh. Subject :-       MEETING NOTICE.

                              I am directed to refer to the subject noted above and to inform that a  meeting under the chairmanship of worthy Secretary, School Education & Literacy Department is scheduled with all Directors and District Education Officers in the Committee Room of PNSC Building, 4^th Floor, School Education & Literacy Department, Karachi on following agendas and as per schedule provided below: –

1. Update on Court Cases and Pension Cases.
2. Book Bank Update.
3. Update on School census by name.
4. Tree Plantation Status
5. Clustering Policy implementation.
6. Pending disciplinary proceedings forwarded by M&E Wing.
7. Joining database status.
8. Update on District Selection Committees Meetings.
9. STR Progress.
10. Recruitment status (PST/JEST).
11. Vacancy position of HST/SST.
12. Details of promotions made during last 05 years.

It is requested to attend the meeting with full preparation alongwith detailed report by each district and division on the above mentioned agendas and Power Point Presentations (format enclosed) on the above date, time and venue positively.
