OPPORTUNITY TO BECOME A PART OF PCAA’S PROFESSIONAL TEAM
SITUATION VACANT NOTICE NO. 02/2025
Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority requires services of qualified individual to fill the following vacant post where selection will be made purely on suitability and merit:-
Flight Inspector Pilot (EG-08)
- Minimum intermediate or equivalent from recognized Education Board.
- Hold or have held an ATPL with a type rating on a Commercial Transport Aircraft with MGTOW of 40.000 Kg or more.
- Not less than 5000 hours as Plot in-Command of Commercial Air Transport Aircraft with MGTOW of 40,000 Kg or more.
- Must have a Synthetic Flight Examiner (SFE) or Type Rating Examiner (TRE) endorsement on an Airline Transport Pilo License (ATPL) for commercial aircraft with a Maximum Takeoff Weight (MGTOW) or 40,000 kg or more.
- 10 years or more experience in Commercial Air Transport Aircraft as a Pilot
- Experience in operational management is a plus, preferably with a background in airline operations, safety management, or regulatory oversight.
- Strong analytical and decision-making abilities
- Effective communication and report writing skills Computer literacy is a must.

Age Limit: Maximum 66 years (including all age relaxations)
Additional Director Finance (EG-07)
- Qualified Cost & Management Accountant (CMA/FCMA) Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA/FCA)/,Qualified Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA/FCCAV Institute/Certified Public Account (CPAV Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)/ Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) MBA (Finance)/Masters in Finance from HEC Recognized University.
- Minimum of Twelve (12) years of experience in a reputable organization in Finance.
- At least 05 (Five) years’ relevant experience in a senior management position related to Finance
- Candidates who have articles completed from a big 4 firm will be given preference.
- Experience in aviation industry is preferred. Desired Skills:
- Extensive knowledge of International Standards/IFRSS/ASS.
Desired Skills
- Extensive knowledge of International Standards/IFRSS/ASS.
- Knowledge of forecasting, financial analysis and budgeting.
- In depth knowledge of statutory regulations, compliances of SECP/Companies Act 2017.
- Proficient with the use of MS office and ERP (Oracle/SAPS etc.)
Age Limit: Maximum 57 years (including all age relaxations)
Secretary CCA Board (EG-07)
- Sixteen (16) years of education from HEC recognized university/Institute.
- Preference would be given to member of a recognized body of Corporate or Chartered Secretaries or a recognized body of professional accountants
- Minimum Twelve (12) years of experience.
- Two (02) years as Company Secretary or Secretary to Board will be preferred.
Age Limit: Maximum 57 years (including all age relaxations)
Joint Director AAR (ANS Inspector) (EG-05)
- Minimum 14 years of Education from HEC recognized University/Institute.
- Minimum 15 years of ATC operational experience in Civil Aviation.
- Have or Hold Air Traffic Controller License (ATCL) with at least 2 ATS units rating (1 rating as Area or Approach surveillance controller).
- Working experience in CAA Regulatory as ANS Inspector framework will be preferred.
Age Limit: Maximum 63 years (including all age relaxations)
Joint Director AT &ER (EG-05)
- Sixteen (16) years of education from a
- At least 05 years of experience in Aviation.
Age Limit: Maximum 45 years (including all age relaxations)
Deputy Director CAA Board Secretariat (EG-03)
- Sixteen (16) years of education from HEC recognized university/Institute.
- Minimum six (06) years of experience with in well reputed Govt or Private Organization preferably with experience in HR/Company Secretariat or Board Secretariat.
Age Limit: Maximum 40 years (including all age relaxations)
Assistant Director PEL (Examination) (EG-01)
- Bachelors/Masters (16 years of education) In Aviation Management/Computer Sciences /Computer Engineering with at least Second (2nd) Division from HEC recognized institute.
- Any ICAO License will be preferred
- Two (02) years of experience in handling Examination Matters in a well reputed organization is preferred.
- Proficiency in computer & accounts.
- Knowledge of ICAO Annexes / Documents & ANOS.
- Knowledge of Auditing Techniques.
- Knowledge of OMS & SMS
Age Limit: Maximum 20 years (age relaxation shall be applicable as per applicable Rules)

Candidates will be required to upload scanned copies of certificate/degree of the required qualification only of the concerned post as mentioned above, updated CV and CNIC while applying for the job.
Candidates applying for the post of Flight Inspector Pilot (EG-07) will be required to upload copy of ATPL. containing relevant endorsements, and copy of last page of Log Book containing details of flying hours
In case a candidate does not upload the above documents with the online application form, his / her application will be rejected.
Terms of Reference:
- Recruitment for the post of Deputy Director Examination (PEL) (EG-03) advertised vide Situation Vacant Notice No. 07/2024 and Additional Director Finance (EG-07) advertised vide Situation Vacant Notice No. 01/2025 stand cancelled/withdrawn.
- Candidates not fulfilling the above requirements or submitting incomplete application shall not be considered.
- Tests/Interviews will be conducted at Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar and Quetta for which separate notices will be issued (depending on the number of candidates).
- The candidates to be called for the interview have to produce original documents for necessary verification while appearing for the interview.
- No TA/DA is admissible for test/interview.
- Appointment will be subject to CAA’s medical fitness standards.
- Selected candidates will be required to serve anywhere in Pakistan as per requirement of PCAA.
- Government servants/employees of autonomous bodies / corporations will be required to submit NOC from current employer before interview.
- Application received after due date will not be considered/entertained.
- Misinformation and any attempt to influence the selection process will be considered as a definite disqualification for current as well as future recruitment in CAA, even if the candidate is otherwise qualified.
- In case, any educational documents or any other document provided by the applicants is found incorrect/ fake/bogus at any stage, the services of selected candidate will be terminated immediately.
