Streamlining Education Recruitment in Balochistan: Facilitation Cell Launched for Transparent Hiring:
The Government of Balochistan, through its School Education Department, has taken a proactive step to enhance efficiency and transparency in the recruitment process for teaching staff (BPS-09 to 15). With the issuance of this notification, dated January 21, 2025, a Facilitation Cell has been established at the Directorate of Education (Schools) Balochistan, Quetta. This cell, under the supervision of Mr. Munir Ahmed Nodezai, Director (M&E, Dev.), aims to streamline the recruitment process conducted through Sardar Bahadur Khan Women’s University (SBK-WU). Comprising experienced officers and officials from various branches of the Directorate, the Facilitation Cell has been tasked with critical functions such as scrutinizing recommendations from District Recruitment Committees (DRCs), maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with the Revised Teaching Staff Recruitment Policy (2019). This initiative reflects the government’s commitment to meritocracy and systematic governance in hiring qualified teaching professionals for the province’s schools. Notification Describes;

NOTIFICATION
No. SO (S-III) 2-22 /2024-Edn:/2301-86/.                           The Secretary, Government of Balochistan, School Education Department, is pleased to notify the establishment of a Facilitation Cell at the Directorate of Education (Schools) Balochistan, Quetta, under the supervision of Director (M&E, Dev.), Mr. Munir Ahmed Nodezai, Directorate of Education (Schools) Balochistan to facilitate and speed up the recruitment process initiated through Sardar Bahadur Khan- Women’s University (SBK-WU). The Director (M&E, Dev.) will be facilitated by the following Officers / Officials of the Directorate of Education (Schools) Balochistan: –
- Mr. Riaz Ahmed Bhangar, Additional Director (Jud & Inq:), DoE (S)
- Mr. Aziz Ur Rehman, Data Analyst, BEMIS
- Mr. Hazrat Ali, Assistant Director (M&E), DoE (S)
- Mr. Ghulam Nabi Abro, Superintendent, EB Branch, DoE (S)
- Mr. Hussain Bakhsh Assistant, EB Branch, DoE (S)
- Mr. Faisal Saooed, Assistant, HR Branch, DoE (S)
Functions:
- To collect/receive minutes of District Recruitment Committees (DRCs) meetings containing recommendations in respect of candidates against the vacant posts duly advertised by this department through SBK-WU;
- To scrutinize the recommendations in respect of the candidates against the vacant teaching posts in light of the approved Revised Teaching Staff (BPS-09 to 15) Recruitment Policy (2019) and one-time relaxation in respect of professional qualification, where applicable;
- To liaise with the department, Director of Education (Schools), and DRCs;
- To maintain the record of the documents/DRC minutes;
- To facilitate DRCs in respect of Revised Teaching Staff (BPS-09 to 15) Recruitment Policy (2019) and one-time relaxation in professional qualification;
- To coordinate with the DRCs throughout the selection/recruitment process, track the progress of the recruitment, and share it with the Department; and
- To submit the scrutinized recommendations in respect of candidates against the advertised vacant teaching posts (BPS-09 to 15) to the Secretariat for approval through the Director of Education (Schools) Balochistan.
Note:-
The letter issued by this department vide SO (Dev.)16-30/2024/9382-91, dated 06th September 2024 regarding the Establishment of a Facilitation Cell is hereby withdrawn after this notification.
