Balochistan Government Declares Public Holiday on February 5 for Kashmir Solidarity Day:
In a significant move to express solidarity with the people of Kashmir, the Government of Balochistan has officially declared February 5, 2025, as a public holiday across the province. The decision follows the notification issued by the Cabinet Secretariat, Government of Pakistan, emphasizing nationwide observance of Kashmir Solidarity Day.
As per the notification, a one-minute silence will be observed at 10:00 AM throughout Balochistan to pay homage to the Kashmiri martyrs who have sacrificed their lives for their right to self-determination. Government offices, educational institutions, and businesses under the provincial administration will remain closed on this occasion.

DECLARATION OF PUBLIC HOLIDAY ON THE OCCASION OF KASHMIR SOLIDARITY DAY.
In pursuance of Government of Pakistan, Cabinet Secretariat, Cabinet Division, Islamabad’s press release No.10-01/2025-Min-11 Dated 04th February, 2025 and in continuation of this Department’s circular of even number dated 14th January, 2025 regarding listing of public and optional holidays for the year, 2025, the Government of Balochistan has been pleased to declare Wednesday, the 5th February,2025 as a public holiday throughout the province on the occasion of Kashmir Solidarity Day. A one minute silence shall be observed at 1000 hours across the province in honour of Kashmiri Martyrs.
