Schools Education Department Takes Decisive Action Against Hiring Malpractices in Balochistan:
The Government of Balochistan’s Schools Education Department is committed to upholding transparency, integrity, and merit in all recruitment processes, particularly in the education sector, which directly impacts the future of students and the province’s overall development. In light of recent findings regarding irregularities in contract-based appointments in District Kech, a Fact-Finding Inquiry Committee was established under Notification No. 22/2025/SO-II(S&GAD) dated 10th January 2025. The committee was tasked with investigating and identifying any violations of the Contract Policy 2024 to ensure that all recruitment practices adhere to established rules and regulations. Based on the committee’s recommendations and with the approval of the Competent Authority, the Schools Education Department has issued an official notification suspending three senior officers involved in recruitment malpractices. This decisive action reflects the government’s firm stance against corruption and its unwavering commitment to ensuring a fair and merit-based recruitment process. The officials facing suspension include Mst. Zamrud Wahid, District Education Officer (DEO) Kech at Turbat; Mst. Shaista Hasil, District Officer of Education (DOE) (Female) Kech at Turbat; and Mr. Saeed Ahmed, Additional Divisional Director of Education (S) Mekran Division. These suspensions are effective immediately and will remain in place until further orders. This measure aims to restore confidence in the recruitment process, reinforcing accountability within the education system. NO.SO(S-I)1-10/2025/Edn:/1619-26 With the prior approval of the Competent Authority and on the recommendation of fact finding Inquiry Committee constituted vide Notification No. 22/2025/SO-II(S&GAD) dated 10th January, 2025, to probe into appointments on contract basis as per contract policy, 2024 in District Kech, the services of the following officers are hereby placed under suspension on account of their involvement in irregularities / malpractices in aforesaid recruitments with immediate effect and until further orders.
1. Mst. Zamrud Wahid DEO, Kech at Turbat.
2. Mst. Shaista Hasil DOE, (Female) Kech at Turbat.
3. Mr. Saeed Ahmed Additional Divisional Director of Education (S) Mekran Division.
