Government of KP Orders National Flag at Half-Mast to Honor Prince Karim Aga Khan:
In a solemn gesture of respect and grief, the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has officially declared a Day of National Mourning on Saturday, 8th February 2025, to honor the passing of His Highness Prince Karim Aga Khan. As a mark of tribute, the National Flag will be flown at half-mast across the province. This decision reflects the deep appreciation and reverence for Prince Karim Aga Khan’s invaluable contributions, not only to the Aga Khan community but also to global humanitarian and development efforts.

DAY OF NATIONAL MOURNING ON THE SAD DEMISE OF HIS HIGHNESS PRINCE AGA KHAN
NO.S.O(ADMN)/E&AD/12-12/M.F/2023. Expressing profound grief on behalf of the Government and people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on the sad demise of His Highness Prince Karim Aga Khan, the Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has declared a Day of National Mourning in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Saturday, the 8th of February, 2025, on the occasion of the funeral of His Highness. The National Flag shall fly at half-mast throughout the Province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on the 8th of February, 2025.
The above Notification may kindly be published in all major English and Urdu Dailies both at National and Regional levels and also be given wide publicity throughout print and electronic media.
