Sindh Government to Hold Promotion Meeting for Senior Inspectors to DSP Rank:
The Government of Sindh, Home Department, has issued an important notification regarding the promotion of senior most Inspectors (BS-16) to the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) (BS-17) in Sindh Police. The Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) meeting has been scheduled to evaluate the cases of eligible officers for their elevation in rank.
The Additional Chief Secretary, Home Department, who is the Chairman of the DPC, will preside over the meeting on March 27, 2025 (Thursday) at 12:30 PM in the Committee Room of the Home Department, Karachi. The Inspector General of Police (IGP) Sindh, Special Secretary, and other senior officials are expected to attend the session to finalize the promotion process.
This promotion initiative aims to strengthen law enforcement leadership, ensure career progression within the police force, and recognize the efforts of experienced officers. The promotions will enhance operational efficiency and law enforcement standards in Sindh. Please find the notification:

SUBJECT: PROMOTION OF THE SENIOR MOST INSPECTORS (BS-16) TO THE RANK OF DEPUTY SUPERINTENDENT OF POLICE (DSP) BS-17 OF SINDH POLICE.
I am directed to refer to the subject noted above and to state that worthy Additional Chief Secretary, Home Department, Government of Sindh, being Chairman of the DPC has been pleased to fix a meeting for consideration the cases of the senior most Inspectors (BS-16) to the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) BS-17 of Sindh Police scheduled on 27.03.2025 (Thursday) at 12:30 pm in the committee room Home Department, Government of Sindh Karachi.
It is, therefore, requested to kindly make it convenient to attend the said meeting on the above mentioned date, time and venue.
