Sindh Government Approves Age Relaxation for Sub Engineer Recruitment:
The Government of Sindh’s School Education & Literacy Department (SELD) has issued an important clarification regarding age relaxation for candidates applying for the post of Sub Engineer (Education Works). This move comes in response to multiple applications requesting an extension of the upper age limit by up to 5 years.
As per the notification, the Services, General Administration & Coordination Department has forwarded these requests to the competent authority for final approval. However, to ensure a smooth application process, candidates aged 28-33 years can now provisionally apply for the position, provided they submit an age relaxation certificate within 15 days (by February 22, 2025).
This decision aims to provide a fair opportunity for eligible candidates who were previously restricted due to age limits. It reflects the Sindh government’s commitment to facilitating employment and ensuring qualified professionals can contribute to the education sector’s infrastructure development. SUBJECT: Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â CLARIFICATION REGARDING AGE RELAXATION FOR VARIOUS POSITIONS ADVERTISEMENT IN SCHOOL EDUCATION AND LITERACY DEPARTMENT, GOVERNMENT OF SINDH.
                             In continuation of this department’s letter of even number dated 23-01-2025 on the subject noted above, it is informed that the Services, General Administration & Coordination Department has interalia processed the applications received for age relaxation upto 05 years for the candidates who have applied for the post of Sub Engineer, Education Works which is under submission to the competent authority for approval as per rules.
2.                          It is requested to please accept the applications of the candidates attaining the age from 28-33 provisionally applying for the said post in School Education & Literacy Department subject to provision of age relaxation certificate, within 15 days, i.e. upto 22-02-2025.
