Clarification Sought on Teacher Promotions and Time Scale Benefits – Latest Government Notification:
The Government of Sindh’s School Education & Literacy Department has formally requested the Finance Department to provide a clarification/modification regarding the status of various teaching cadre posts, including Oriental Teachers (OT), Drawing Teachers (DT), Physical Education Teachers (PET), Subject Leaders (SLT), and Workshop Instructors (WI).
This request follows previous correspondence regarding Notification No. SO(S-III)1-1895/2023 dated August 23, 2023, which outlined details related to promotions, selection grades, and time scale benefits for different teacher categories. The Finance Department has been urged to revisit this matter to ensure that all eligible teachers receive their due benefits in accordance with policy guidelines.
With this move, the Sindh government aims to address grievances raised by various teaching cadres and ensure a fair resolution to long-standing promotion and salary structure issues. SUBJECT: Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â REQUEST TO ISSUE CLARIFICATION/MODIFICATION REGARDING POSTS OF OT, DT, PET, SLT & WI IN PURSUANCE OF NOTIFICATION NO.SO(S-III)1-1895/2023 KARACHI DATED THE 23RD AUGUST, 2023.
The Section Officer (SR-II), Finance Department may kindly refer to his letter No.FD(SR-II)/1-104/91/Education dated 04.12.2024 and correspondence resting with this department, on the subject noted above.
2. Enclosed please find herewith requisite documents (grade-wise)/clarification/ modification regarding grievance of other cadre teachers i.e. OT/AT/IT, DT/DM, PET as under:-
3. The details of promotion/selection grade/time scale awarded to:-
(a) Oriental Teachers/Arabic Teachers/Islamiat Teachers (F/A)
(b) Drawing Teachers/Drawing Masters/Sr. Drawing Master (F/B)
(c) Physical Teachers/Jr. Physical Teachers/Sr. Physical Teachers (F/C)
                             Finance Department, Govt. of Sindh is once again requested to revisit the matter regarding benefit of time scale to OT/AT/IT, DT/DM/Sr. DM.PET/Jr.PET/Sr.PET Etc. to resolve the issue.
