SUBJECT:          CREATION OF OSD POSTS IN FAVOUR OF LEGAL HEIRS OF DECEASED GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEE

Kindly refer to Government of the Punjab School Education Department Punjab Lahore vide No. SO(DEA)/1-9/2018 dated 29th March, 2024 on the subject cited above.

2.       The Department has been observed that due care is not given by your office in forwarding the different cases for creation of OSD posts in respect of legal heirs of deceased a government employee which causes not only unnecessary delay in process such cases but at the same time results in cases embarrassment for the department in different legal forums.

3.       In view of the above, the undersigned has been further directed to state that while submitting such cases due consideration must be given in completing all codal formalities / provision of required documents. Moreover, you are further requested to check exact date of birth, date of death date of superannuation, name of legal heirs, name of particular deceased Government employee, name of place of posting in particular as it has been observed that variations have been found in dates mentioned in service book, CNIC and salary slips etc.

4.       This may be treated as most urgent and personal attentions.
