SUBJECT:   GRANT OF ADHOC RELIEF ALLOWANCE-2023 @ 35% OF BASIC PAY AS ON 30.06.2023 TO THE CIVIL SERVANTS OF PUNJAB GOVERNMENT IN BS-1 TO BS-16 & @ 30% OF BASIC PAY AS ON  30.06.2023 TO THE CIVIL SERVANTS IN BS-17 TO BS-22

In continuation of this Department’s earlier Notification of even number dated 18.07.2023, the Governor of the Punjab has been pleased to revise the rate of Adhoc Relief Allowance-2023 to all the Civil Servants of the Punjab Government and contract employees employed against civil posts in Basic Pay Scales on standard terms and conditions of contract appointment as below, with effect from 01.08.2023:

1. BPS-1 to 16               @ 35% of Basic Pay as on 30.06.2023
2. BPS-17 to 22             @ 30% of Basic Pay as on 30.06.2023
3. The term “Basic Pay” for the purpose of Adhoc Relief Allowance-2023 will also include the amount of the personal pay granted on account of annual increment(s).
4. The other conditions shall remain the same as mentioned in above referred notification.
