Eid Honorarium Announced for HESCO Employees–Full Notification:

In a significant announcement by the Hyderabad Electric Supply Company (HESCO), the 258th Board of Directors (BOD) meeting held on 26th March 2025 has granted an honorarium for the financial year 2024-25 on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr. This honorarium will be applicable to all HESCO employees who meet specific eligibility criteria and have been on the payroll for at least six months as of the approval date.

The honorarium amount varies depending on the employee’s contract type, with regular, contract, and deputation employees eligible for one month’s running basic pay, while market-based package employees and those on lump sum pay packages will receive a percentage of their packages. Daily wages and part-time employees will receive the minimum pay scale for their post. However, employees involved in departmental inquiries related to corruption, electricity theft, or misconduct will not be eligible for the honorarium. Please find the notification:

OFFICE ORDER

Approval of the BOD HESCO Hyderabad accorded in its 258th meeting held on 26.03.2025, is hereby conveyed for the grant of Honorarium for the financial year 2024-25 on the eve of Eid-ul-Fitr to all HESCO Employees subject to the following conditions:

Eligibility Criteria

  1. Employees involved in Departmental Inquiries pertaining to the Financial Year 2024-25 related to Corruption, Electricity Theft, Embezzlement, Fraud, Gross Misconduct or under NAB / FIA Investigations, will not be eligible. However, those later exonerated or censured, will qualify.
  2. Employees penalized with a major penalty during the Financial Year 2024-25 will not beentitled.

General Conditions

  1. The Honorarium will be applicable to all Employees (Regular, Contract, Deputation, Daily Wages, Part-Time, Lump Sum Pay Package & Market-Based Package) who have been on HESCO Payroll for at least six months as of the HESCO BOD’s approval date i.e 26.03.2025.
  2. Daily Wages and Part-Time Employees must have been originally appointed at least one year before HESCO BOD’s approval date i.e 26.03.2025.
  3. Employees on Extraordinary Leave or Deputation outside HESCO/abroad will not be eligible.

Honorarium Rate

Advertising
  1. Regular, Contract, and Deputation Employees            One Month’s Running Basic Pay.
  2. Market-Based Package Contract Employees                 40% of the Package.
  3. Lump Sum Pay Package Contract Employees                50% of the Package.
  4. Daily Wages and Part-Time Employees                           Minimum Pay Scale of the post.

Mode of Payment

The Honorarium will be disbursed via Cross Cheque or Bank Transfer only.
