IESCO Calls 241^st Board of Directors Meeting – Key Decisions Expected:

The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) has announced the 241^st meeting of its Board of Directors, scheduled for Monday, March 24, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the IESCO Head Office, Islamabad. This urgent meeting has been convened under the chairmanship of Dr. Tahir Masood, with participation from all directors and officials.

Agenda Highlights:

• Taking Over Bahria Town’s Distribution System: This discussion follows directions from the National Coordinator for Task Force SRPS regarding the electricity distribution system of Bahria Town.
• Procurement Approvals: The Board will review the procurement recommendations for 11 KV 4-Way Load Break Switches (RMU) and 100 KVA Pole Mounted Distribution Transformers.
• Employee Honorarium: The Board will consider granting an honorarium to IESCO employees for their efforts in maintaining operational efficiency and improving overall performance.

2.            The primary agenda of the meeting is to discuss the issue of “Taking over distribution system of Bahria Town” as directed by National Coordinator for Task Force SRPS.

3.            In addition, the meeting will also consider the recommendations of the Board Committee for procurement of 11 KV 4 Way Load Break Switches (RMU) and 100 KVA Pole Mounted Distribution Transformer and award of honorarium to all IESCO’s Employees for maintaining operation effectiveness and overall better performance.
