Urgent Update for Punjab Teachers: Use SIS Portal for All Data Corrections – Manual Requests Banned:
The Government of Punjab’s School Education Department (Monitoring Wing) has issued a strict directive dated 16th May 2025, addressing a recurring problem faced by thousands of teachers in Punjab. The issue? Teachers have been submitting manual requests for data corrections in the School Information System (SIS), causing unnecessary delays, confusion, and frequent office visits.
To solve this, the department has now mandated the use of the SIS portal exclusively for all data-related corrections. Teachers must use the “RAISE CONCERN” tab in their SIS account and upload the required documents. CEOs (Chief Executive Officers) of DEAs are also directed to take action only through the “CEO Request” section of SIS.
Manual applications will no longer be accepted under any circumstance. This move ensures transparency, speed, and ease for teachers across the province.
Find the official notification below with complete instructions and responsibilities for both teachers and DEAs.

Digital Only: SIS Portal Is Now the Only Way Forward:
With this new directive, the Punjab School Education Department is clearly pushing for a more organized, transparent, and tech-driven system. By making the School Information System (SIS) the only valid platform for data correction requests, the department aims to reduce manual delays, eliminate unauthorized visits, and empower teachers with direct access to their own service data.
Teachers must now adapt by using the “Raise Concern” feature within SIS to fix any personal, service, or order-related issues. CEOs and District Education Authorities have also been held responsible for responding and forwarding these concerns appropriately through the system.
Remember: Manual applications are no longer allowed, and failure to comply may lead to unnecessary complications. So if you’re a teacher or part of the school management staff, make sure your login credentials are updated and that you’re familiar with the SIS portal functions.
