Institutional Reforms Update: Rightsizing Committee Meeting to Finalize Key Recommendations:

The Government of Pakistan, through the Institutional Reforms Cell (IRC) under the Cabinet Division, is actively working towards the optimization and efficiency of the federal government. In this regard, the Committee on Rightsizing of the Federal Government is scheduled to convene for a crucial meeting to review and finalize recommendations pertaining to the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Federal Education & Professional Training. This meeting, initially planned for January 29, 2025, has now been rescheduled to January 31, 2025, at 10:00 AM, in the Committee Room of the Finance Division, located on the 4th Floor of Q Block, Pak Secretariat, Islamabad. The primary objective of this session is to assess and deliberate on the final proposals that will streamline governmental operations, enhance administrative efficiency, and ensure the optimal allocation of resources across federal institutions. In this context, a special invitation has been extended to the Honorable Ministers of the respective Ministries, along with their senior management, to actively participate in the discussions and contribute to the decision-making process. The involvement of key stakeholders is expected to foster informed policymaking and a comprehensive approach to governmental restructuring. All committee members are encouraged to attend as per the revised schedule to ensure meaningful deliberations and productive outcomes.
