Sindh Government Initiates Salary Release for Newly Recruited Teachers:
The Government of Sindh’s School Education & Literacy Department (SELD) has taken an important step towards ensuring timely salary disbursement for newly recruited Junior Elementary School Teachers (JESTs) in District Hyderabad. According to the official notification issued on March 12, 2025, the Accountant General Sindh has been directed to process the salaries of 120 JESTs who have recently joined under the Recruitment Policy 2021.
The teachers, appointed through a transparent hiring process, have completed their joining formalities across four talukas:
- Hyderabad City: 47 teachers
- Hyderabad Rural: 13 teachers
- Latifabad: 50 teachers
- Qasimabad: 10 teachers
This notification ensures that newly appointed teachers receive their salaries after all necessary verifications and formalities are completed. This move is expected to boost teacher morale and enhance the education system in Sindh. Notification Describes;

I am directed to refer to the subject noted above and to forward herewith copy of letter No.D.G/HR&TRANING/SELD/JESTS & PSTS/Recruitment/1-56/2020/4983, dated 28.02.2025, Joining Database (in original) alongwith supporting documents (taluka-wise) of newly appointed JESTS of District Hyderabad, duly verified by the DG (HR&T), SELD and countersigned by the Secretary, School Education & Literacy Department, Govt. of Sindh:-
