Sindh Schools to Observe Kashmir Solidarity Day with Special Activities:
In a recent development, the Government of Sindh, Directorate of School Education (Elementary, Secondary & Higher Secondary), Sukkur Region has issued an official Government Notification regarding the observance of Kashmir Solidarity Day on 5th February 2025. The notification directs all district education officers of Sukkur, Khairpur, and Ghotki to ensure special events in schools, including debates, declamation contests, and awareness sessions, to highlight the cause of Kashmir’s struggle for self-determination.
The notification emphasizes that schools must document and share pictures of the celebrations on the same day, while a detailed report of the events should be submitted to the Directorate the following day. This initiative aims to engage students in understanding the historical and political significance of Kashmir Solidarity Day while promoting awareness of human rights issues. Notification Describes;

It is to inform that Higher Authorities have been pleased to issue that directions that 05th of February, 2025 shall be celebrated as “KASHMIR SOLIDARITY DAY”. Accordingly the debates, declamation contests activities shall be arranges in Schools and Taluka’s.
Furthermore, the snaps/pictures of the celebration must be share on the same date & the complete written report of the functions may be send to this Directorate of very next day. Personal attention is required to be paid in this regard.
