KPK Education Department to Conduct Endline Assessment for Students & Teachers:
The Directorate of Curriculum and Teacher Education (DCTE), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, has issued an official notification regarding the Large-Scale Sample-Based Endline Assessment Cycle-II for students and teachers. This assessment is designed to evaluate students of Grade 2, Grade 5, and Grade 8 in subjects including English, General Science, Math, and Urdu, while also assessing Teacher Content Knowledge (TCK) and Teacher Competency Survey (TCS).
Initially planned for March 11-13, 2025, the assessment has now been rescheduled to March 17-19, 2025. The data collection for this cycle is mandatory as it directly correlates with the Baseline Assessment data collected in 2024.
To ensure the transparency and smooth execution of the assessment, the Education Department has instructed District Education Officers (DEOs) to monitor the process closely using a standardized proforma. Schools must ensure the full participation of students and teachers to maintain accuracy in performance evaluation.

SUBJECT: CONDUCT OF LARGE-SCALE SAMPLE BASED ENDLINE ASSESSMENT CYCLE-II
I am directed to refer to this Directorate meeting minutes issued on dated: 02-02-2025, letter No 731-734/A&E/DCTE/2025 dated:18-02-2025 and No.894-98/A&E/DCTE/2025 on the above subject. The Cycle II Large-Scale Sample based Endline Assessment includes the following:
- Students – Grade-2. 5 & 8 (English, G-Science, Math and Urdu).
- Teacher-Teacher Content Knowledge (TCK). Teacher Competency Survey (TCS)
2. The collection of data for this Endline Assessment from the field is mandatory to be ensured at the closure of academic year as it has technical relevance with Baseline Assessment data collected in 2024.
3. The assessment activity was earlier planned for 11-13 March, 2025, which is now rescheduled for 17-19 March, 2025. In view of the above it is once again requested that the students and teachers of Grade-2, 5 & 8 may please be bound for the Endline Assessment scheduled for 17-19 March, 2025.
4. You are further requested to direct the DEO (M/F) to ensure the transparency of the assessment process in their respective districts for this purpose the monitoring proforma is hereby attached for further sharing with DEOs with the request to direct them to develop a mechanism for monitoring as developed by DEO Female Swabi and Mardan please.
