Khyber Pakhtunkhwa CPD Program 2024-25: Revised Schedule for PD Day-8 Announced–Notification

PD Day-8 Rescheduled in Summer Zone – New Dates Announced:

The Directorate of Professional Development, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, has issued an important government notification regarding the rescheduling of Professional Development Day-8 (PDD-8) under the CPD Program 2024-25. Initially planned for March 01, 2025, the session will now be held on February 28, 2025. This change applies exclusively to the summer zone, while the schedule for winter zone remains unchanged.

This announcement is crucial for District Education Officers (DEOs), School Leaders, and Primary School Teachers who are required to ensure 100% attendance on the revised date. The notification also directs officers to upload online attendance within three days of the PD session as per SOPs.

The decision aims to streamline the capacity-building process for teachers and ensure uninterrupted professional development activities across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Please find the official notification below:

SUBJECT:             REVISED SCHEDULE OF PD DAY-8 IN SUMMER ZONE ONLY UNDER CPD PROGRAM 2024-25

                              I am directed to refer to the subject cited above and to request that the Professional Development Day-8 (PDD-8) in SUMMER ZONE was planned on March 01, 2025 which is needed to be rescheduled in the best public interest.

                              It is, therefore, requested that Districts Education Officers Male/Female of summer zone in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa may be directed to conduct PDD-8 as per the revised schedule:

                              Furthermore, it is requested to intimate and direct DEOS (Male/Female) of all districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to make necessary arrangement as well.

Note:

1.            The remaining schedule of PDD 7 & 8 for winter zone, already notified, will remain intact without any change.

2.            Inform SDEOS/ASDEOS/School Leaders to ensure 100% attendance of the primary school teachers and facilitators.

3.            As per SOPs please upload online attendance within 3-days of the PD Day.
