Improving Education Efficiency: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Ministerial Staff Transfer Policy:
The Elementary & Secondary Education Department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has issued an important notification regarding the posting and transfer of ministerial staff in the region. As per the directive, which was communicated to the Directorate of Elementary & Secondary Education and relevant Section Officers, the transfer of ministerial staff members who have served in the offices of the Director, District Education Officers (DEOs), and Sub-Divisional Education Officers (SDEOs) for more than one and a half years is mandated. The decision follows a departmental meeting held on January 15, 2025, where it was decided that these staff members should be reassigned to schools within their respective districts and grades. This move aims to ensure better distribution of staff and improve efficiency within the education system. The notification further outlines a clear timeline for the task’s completion, with different phases set for various districts.                              I am directed to refer to the subject noted above and to enclose herewith copy of minutes of the Standing Committee meeting held on 17.12.2024 (Sr.21) for further necessary action at your end, please.
2.                          It is further added that a departmental meeting was held today on 15.01.2025 wherein it was decided that the posting/transfer of all the ministerial staff, who have served in the offices of the Director, DEOs and SDEOs for more than one & a half year, must be transferred to schools, District wise and Grad wise within stipulated period of their respective domain, as per given below:-
