Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Establishment Department Appoints Children of Deceased and Medically Retired Employees as Junior Clerks (BPS-11)-Notification

ORDER

No.SOE.IV(E&AD) 1-17/2022:–      In exercise of powers conferred under Rule 4(3)(b) read with Rule 10(4) of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Civil Servants (Appointment, Promotion & Transfer) Rules. 1989, the Competent Authority (Secretary Establishment) has been pleased to appoint the following children of the deceased employees / employees retired on medical grounds of E&AD as Junior Clerk (BPS-11), in the Civil Secretariat, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Peshawar w.e.f. the date of joining on the terms & conditions as given below:-

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. They will get pay at the minimum of BPS-11 including usual allowances as admissible under the rules. They will also be entitled to annual increment as per existing policy;
2. They shall be governed by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Civil Servants Act, 1973 and all laws applicable to the Civil Servants and the Rules made there-under;
3. In light of Section-19(2) of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Civil Servants Act 1973 (amended in 2022), they shall not be entitled for pension and gratuity. They shall in lieu of pension and gratuity be entitled to receive such amount contributed by them towards the Contributory Provident Fund alongwith the contributions made by Government to their account in the said Fund, in the prescribed manner as provided in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Civil Servants Pension Rules, 2021
4. They strait be on probation for a period of one year, in terms of Section 6(1) of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Civil Servants Act, 1973 read with Rule 15(1) of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Civil Servants (Appointment, Promotion & Transfer) Rules, 1989 and extendable for another year with the specific orders of appointing authority within two months of the expiry of first year of probation period as specified in Rule-15(2) of Rules ibid.
5. In case of resignation at any time, fourteen days notice shall be necessary or in lieu thereof fourteen days pay shall be forfeited.
6. They shall produce a medical certificate of fitness from Medical Superintendent, Police & Services Hospital Peshawar and character certificate from two gazetted officers.
7. Their retention in service shall be subject to verification of their domicile, testimonials and antecedents etc. from the concerned authorities/offices;
8. Their appointment is liable to be terminated at any time without assigning any reason before the expiry of the period of probation/extended period of probation, it their performance during this period is not found satisfactory;
9. They will join duty at their own expenses, as no TA/DA shall be admissible there-for.

2.                     If the above terms and conditions are acceptable to them, they ought to submit arrival report within 30 days of issuance of this order.
