KPK Finance Department Approves Rs 95.468 Million for Double Shift School Program:
The Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) has issued an official notification regarding the release of Rs 95.468 million for the Double Shift School (DSS) Program. The amount is set to be transferred to District Fund (Account-IV) from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Account-I (Non-Food) to clear pending stipends for teachers, headmasters, and other ministerial staff engaged in second-shift schooling across various districts.
This financial allocation ensures that educational institutions in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa can continue to provide quality education under the DSS initiative. The notification details district-wise fund distribution, with significant allocations to areas such as Lower Chitral, Upper Chitral, Peshawar, Swabi, and Lakki Marwat. The KP Finance Department has instructed that the utilization of funds be carried out in accordance with all financial regulations and codal formalities.
This step reflects the government’s commitment to improving education accessibility through the Double Shift Schooling system.

SUBJECT: REQUEST FOR RELEASE OF LIABILITIES UNDER DOUBLE SHIFT SCHOOL (DSS) PROGRAM
Kindly credit District Fund (Account-IV) with a sum of Rs 95.468 Million (Rupees Ninety Five Million and Four Hundred Sixty Eight thousand Only) per contra debit to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Account-I (Non-Food) as per following District-wise details. The amount is adjustable in the account for the year 2024-25:

The above amount is released and transferred as additional grant under Non-Salary Component under Grant No NC 21129 (39) (District Non-Salary) to clear pending liabilities of previous years and current FY on account of stipends for teachers, Principals/Head Master/Head Mistress/Head Teachers and Ministerial Staff through re-appropriation from lump-sum during CFY 2024-25. The utilization of released/transferred funds shall be made by E&SE Department in accordance with District-wise/Object-wise attached details and subject to observance of all codal formalities as required under the rules.
